Who is Yehoshua Hartman?

Rabbi Yehoshua Hartman is an American rabbi, Talmudic scholar, and commentator on the teachings of the Maharal of Prague. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He currently lives with his wife in Hendon, London.

His father, Rabbi Yechezkel Hartman, was a noted student of the author of the Pachad Yitzchak. His brother, Rabbi Ezra Hartman, is a teacher at Yeshivas Bais Yisroel.

Rabbi Hartman graduated from the Yeshiva High School and then went on to study at Yeshivat Itri. He spent over twenty years working at a Michlala in Jerusalem, Israel. During his time in Israel, he also taught at Maarava Machon Rubin and resided in the suburb of Har Nof. He currently heads the Hasmonean Beis Hamedrash, the sixth form Jewish Studies Programme at Hasmonean High School in Hendon, North West London.
