Who was A. King Dickson?

Alexander King Dickson served one season as a college football head coach, and was the fourth head coach of the Nevada State University Sagebrushers, coaching the 1899 season.

Dickson went to the 'Brushers from the University of Pennsylvania, and brought NSU its second and consecutive winning season, going 3-2 overall. The three wins were against the University of the Pacific, Santa Clara College, and the San Jose Normal School; the two losses were versus Berkeley and Stanford.
