Who is Aamir Liaquat Hussain?

Aamir Liaquat Hussain, is a Pakistani politician, broadcaster, poet, and religious personality. Hussain was born on 5 July 1971 in Karachi. He has been the host of the TV program Aalim Aur Aalam on ARY Digital since 6 August 2010 previously appearing on Geo News hosting the show Aalim Online. Aamir Liaquat Hussain contested in 2002 and he was elected to the National Assembly affiliated party with Muttahida Qaumi Movement. He resigned from his post as a member of the National Assembly and from his seat as the Minister of Religious Affairs in 2007.

In 2005, an investigation into his background revealed that his degrees were fake. In 2010 he was expelled from Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
