Who is Andrés Santo Domingo?

Andres Santo Domingo is the co-founder of Kemado Records and a New York City philanthropist and socialite. In 2002, Andres Santo Domingo co-founded Kemado Records, a record company based in Brooklyn in New York City. It is one of the few outlets that still supports vinyl, along with it's sister label Mexican Summer and is primarily centered around heavy rock and roll. Their offices in Brooklyn include both a commercial recording studio and a first-floor retail store where they could sell limited-edition vinyl, called Co-Op 87. In 2008 he married Lauren Davis, a contributing editor of Vogue, in an elaborate Columbia wedding. They have a young son and are expecting another child in the fall. Mr. Santo Domingo is a supporter of a number of charitable organizations including serving as a co-chair with his wife of the gala to benefit DKMS, an organization whose mission is to save lives by recruiting bone marrow donors for blood cancer patients. Andres Santo Domingo and Lauren Santo Domingo have also been on the host committees of the Conservation International’s 25th Anniversary Event a benefit to establish the Institute for Environmental Sustainability and Peace Exhibit, the MoMA’s Costume Institute Event, the Urban Hoedown to benefit the Art Production Fund, the Second Annual Spring Soiree to benefit the Fortune Society, Christie’s Green Auction to benefit Conservation International, Oceans, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Central Park Conservancy.
