Who is Gary Sinise?

Gary Alan Sinise is an American actor, film director, and musician. During his career, he won various awards including an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award, while also being nominated for an Academy Award.

Sinise is known for several memorable roles during his career, such as George Milton in the successful film adaptation of Of Mice and Men, Lt. Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, Harry S. Truman in Truman, for which he won a Golden Globe Award, Detective Jimmy Shaker in Ransom, and George C. Wallace in the television film George Wallace, for which he was awarded an Emmy Award. Sinise is also known for starring as Detective Mac Taylor in the CBS police procedural series CSI: NY.
