Who is Grace Ames?

Grace A. Ames joined Oak in 1999 as Chief Operating and Financial

Officer and was promoted to General Partner for Oak XII. Prior to Oak,

Grace's senior management career in the financial industry spanned

portfolio management, brokerage, trading analytics, cash management and

global custody. From 1984 to 1989, Grace developed and managed the

non-dollar and derivative product trading operations for Harvard

Management Company in Boston. From 1989 to 1994, Grace was a Vice

President at Barclay Investments, Inc. in New York where her

contributions included trade analysis, systems development, cash

management and operations management. Grace returned to Boston in 1994

to join Brown Brothers Harriman's global custody operation as manager

of the Treasury Department. Just prior to joining Oak, Grace served as

CFO of New Bond Trading, Inc., an investment manager of a group of

complex offshore, fixed income hedge funds. Grace received her B.A.

degree in Government from Smith College.
