Begum Iffat Liaqat Ali Khan became the first woman of the Minhas tribe to be elected as a M.P.A on a general seat from Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. She is a current member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, Pakistan.Her Husband Chaudhary Liaqut Ali Khan was elected to the Provincial assembly in 1985 and continued his post till 1999.He did not leave PML-N as others did.
