Who is Ilamcetcenni?
Ilamcetcenni was an early Tamil king of the Chola dynasty during the Sangam period. He was a great warrior and ruled the Chola kingdom with Puhar as the capital. He married a Velir Princess and the child born to the Royal couple was called Karikala Cholan. We don't have much details about his personal life. He was then succeeded by Karikala Chola, who is considered the greatest among the Early Cholas. He is considered to have good knowledge on making of 'Horse Cars'.
