Who is Kohei Uchimura?

Kōhei Uchimura is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He is a five-time Olympic medalist, winning a gold and four silvers, a nine-time World medalist and is considered by many to be the greatest gymnast of all time. He is famous for becoming the first gymnast to win every major all-around title in a single Olympic cycle, including three consecutive world all around titles and the 2012 Olympic All-Around Champion. He is also known for delivering difficult and accurately executed routines. His gymnastics skills were praised by International Gymnast Magazine as a "combination of tremendous difficulty, supreme consistency and extraordinary elegance of performance." Kōhei Uchimura is an atheist.
