Who is October?

October Hamlyn-Wright is a British musician and recording artist. Known purely by her first name, October was born in Surrey, England. She began her recording career as the founder of Euphoria, a teenage all girl pop band. Having embarked on a solo career, October produced her first music video with Whirlwind Films for her song "Ulterior Motives", and has played at the Glastonbury Festival several times, including Glastonbury 2013.

Since then she has toured in countries such as Australia and Europe. October's music has become closely linked with the surf scene through playing festivals such as Boardmasters, and she has been featured in publications such as Surf Girl. She has played various live BBC sessions and also writes music for film, including "Free Your Soul" which is set to feature in the upcoming Corduroy Films film, Lost & Found.
