Who is Oscar A. Solis?
Bishop Oscar Azarcon Solis is an auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, California. Solis is the first Filipino-American to be consecrated a bishop. He was ordained a priest in 1979. He was appointed auxiliary bishop of Los Angeles by Pope John Paul II and was consecrated bishop on February 11, 2004.
