Who was Xälil of Kazan?
Xalil was the khan of Kazan Khanate in 1463-1467. He was the eldest son of khan Maxmud. He ascended to the throne after his father's death. The information about his life is scarce, because the Mongols lacked a written system at the time. Upon his death, the throne passed to his brother Ibrahim.
