Who is Paddy Barry?
Patrick "Paddy" Barry is an Irish retired hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the Cork senior team.
Barry made his first appearance for the team during the 1962-63 National League and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1974 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland medals, four Munster medals and four National Hurling League medals. An All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions, Barry captained the team to the All-Ireland title.
At club level Barry was a one-time intermediate championship medalist with St. Vincent's.
