Who is Wade Walker?
Wade Walker is an American former football player, coach, and university administrator. He played college football as a tackle at the University of Oklahoma under head coaches Jim Tatum and Bud Wilkinson. Walker was named an all-conference player all four years and a first-team All-American in 1949. He served as the head football coach at Mississippi State for six years from 1956 to 1961 and compiled a 22–32–2 record. He also served as the athletic director at Mississippi State and Oklahoma.
