Who is MacKenzie Boyd-Clowes?
Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes is a Canadian ski jumper who has competed on the World Cup level since 2009.
He holds the Canadian ski jumping distance record of 205.0 metres which he jumped in Harrachov in 2013. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he finished 12th in the team competition, 44th in the individual normal hill, and 45th in the individual large hill events. His best World Cup result is 9th place at ski flying in Bad Mitterndorf in January 2014. He finished in 1st place at Continental Cup in Stams, Austria on June 2012. He has won 3 FIS Cup events.
Mackenzie was raised in Calgary, Alberta where he trained on the ski jumps at Canada Olympic Park.
