Who was Zbyněk Zeman?

Zbyněk Anthony Bohuslav Zeman was a British historian of Czech origin. He has published widely on the history of central and eastern Europe in the 20th century. As an academic, he taught at the universities of St Andrews, Lancaster, Oxford and Prague. He has also worked for The Economist magazine and Amnesty International. Among his many publications are:
