Who was E. Ruth Anderson?
Elsie Ruth Anderson was an American meteorologist and editor. Anderson attended the New England Conservatory of Music from 1924 to 1931, 1934, and 1940 to 1941. She earned a diploma from the New England Conservatory in "Orchestral Course in Violin" in June 1931.
In World War II, she joined the WAVES and trained at the Navy Aerographers School. She then worked for the American Meteorological Society for 20 years.
