Who is Choi Ki Ho?

Choi Ki Ho born on 5 May 1991 in Hong Kong, is a cyclist.

Choi is widely considered the best road racer Hong Kong has produced in recent years. He spent three months training at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland, in 2010 and won the one-day Tour of Berne. He was also the best-placed Asian rider in the under-23 road race at the 2010 UCI Road World Championships in Melbourne, Australia.

Coach Shen Jinkang praised the talented Choi, who won a World Cup gold medal in the madison at the age of 19 when competing in Beijing two years ago. "He is fully committed to the sport and never complains about the tough training," Shen said. "It's not easy to find this quality in a young rider."

Choi will retire at the end of the 2013 season, to pursue business studies.
