Who is Ibn Hamza al-Maghribi?
Ibn Hamza al-Maghribi was a 16th-century Muslim mathematician. He was born in Algeria but was educated in Istanbul during the rule of Murad III.
His most important work was Tuhfat al-a'dad fi-l-hisab, in Turkish, which discusses some form of the concept of the logarithm.
