Who is Matthew Buckland?

A South African media-owner and entrepreneur, named as one of the country's top 100 most influential media and advertising people, Buckland studied journalism at Rhodes University in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Buckland headed the online division of the Mail & Guardian, thereafter he started 20fourlabs at 24.com, a South African online news portal owned by Naspers. While at the Mail & Guardian Buckland founded Thought Leader. After leaving 20fourlabs, Buckland founded Cape Town-based technology news and analysis site Memeburn, published by his digital agency Creative Spark.
