V.D. Satheesan is a Member of Kerala Legislative Assembly from Parur constituency, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He is a Member of Indian National Congress serving as AICC Secretary in charge of Tamil Nadu.. He started his political career from his school level. He served as the Chairman of the Mahathma Gandhi University Students Union representing Kerala Students Union. KSU is known as the youth wing of Indian National Congress. After that he served as Secretary of National Students Union of India also. He is the member of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee and All India Congress Committee.
