Who is RLMDL?

RLMDL is the electronic-dream pop project of musician-producer Jordan Allen, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

The project's initial influence came about through Allen's fascination with the ambient static noise of between-station radio frequencies, and developed into sonic experiments with pop song structures and instrumentation.

The project's debut EP, "Just My Luck", was released digitally in autumn 2011, followed by a limited edition cassette in January 2012. A subsequent collection of remixes from the EP by artists such as Western WALK, Math Rosen, Vyxor and Alligator Indian was released in March 2012.

A double A-side digital single, "Pretty Boy" b/w "Barcelona" was released in June 2012 on Affectionate Records, a label imprint created by fellow musician Taylor Everett and Jordan Allen.

In September 2012, the live performance incarnation of RLMDL was expanded to include musicians Taylor Everett and Olivia Borkosky, with Allen on guitar and lead vocals. The group has opened for several notable acts, such as Diamond Rings, Young Magic, and has performed as part of Toronto's Wavelength Music Series.

RLMDL will release its debut full-length album, "Before Then Was Now", in 2013.
