Who is Abdul Hye Sikder?
Abdul Hye Sikder is a contemporary poet of Bangladesh. He was born in 1957. He is regarded as the Nazrul literature expert. Sikder received Bangla Academy Award in 2003, the highest literary award in Bangladesh.
Poet Sikder completed his Bachelor and Masters in Bengali Literature from Rajshahi University. He is currently the assistant editor of Daily Amar Desh and as Associate Professor of the University of Development Alternative.
Previously Sikder served as the Chief of Feature Services of the national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha and executive director of Nazrul Institute Dhaka.
