Who is Alam Muzaffarnagari?

Alam Muzaffarnagari, real name Muhammad Ishaaq, was born in Muzaffarnagar, a city in Uttar Pradesh. He was a Qasida, Masnavi, Ruba'i, Nazm and Ghazal writer. He spent his entire life in Muzaffarnagar where he studied Persian and Arabic and later taught these languages at the local Islamiya Inter College. He was a disciple of Seemab Akbarabadi. Two collections of his poems, titled Salsabil and Kausar o Tasniim, have been published.
