Who is Alan Carey?

Alan Carey is an Irish sprint canoer who competed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, he was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-2 500 m event. Four years later, at the 1992 Summer Olympics, Carey was eliminated in the repechages of both the K-2 500 m and the K-2 1000 m events.
