Alan Gibson was a Canadian director active in British film and television. Particularly notable for his work in horror, cinematic films directed by him include Journey to Midnight, Crescendo, the hugely popular Dracula A.D. 1972, The Satanic Rites of Dracula, Checkered Flag or Crash and Witness for the Prosecution. His television work includes The Capone Investment, Churchill and the Generals and The Charmer.
