Who is Alan Isaac?

Alan Raymond Isaac, CNZM, is a New Zealand cricket player and administrator. A left-handed batsman who played cricket in Wellington in his teenage years, he went on to become president of the New Zealand Cricket Board in 2008 and succeeded Sharad Pawar, former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, as president of the International Cricket Council in 2012.

In the 2013 New Year Honours, Isaac was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to cricket and business.
