Who is Alan M. Powell?

Alan M. Powell is an American businessman and entrepreneur based in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the founder and CEO of AP & Associates, a strategic consultancy firm with a focus on multicultural content.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Powell served three years in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm. Upon his return, he earned a bachelor's degree in sports administration from Missouri Valley College. Powell began his business career at the Walnut Group, later relocating to Los Angeles to lead Management One, working with athletes such as Evander Holyfield, and The Firm, Inc., where he served as vice-president, which landed Korn on the BET. He then guided T-Town Music as CEO, ultimately founding AP & Associates in 2004 in Dallas, Texas.

In 2008, Powell relocated the headquarters of AP & Associates to Scottsdale, with satellite offices in Los Angeles, Cincinnati and New York. The focus of his client roster continues to embrace every form of entertainment - music, movies, television and sports. His close association with NASCAR has allowed him to bring talented performers to the arena, such as Tyrese Gibson.

He currently serves as a board member for the City of Phoenix Aviation Board and the Phoenix Military Veterans Commission.
