Who is Alan Marangoni?
Alan Marangoni is a professional Italian road cyclist, currently riding for Cannondale. He began his career as a track cyclist, including a national title at the elite level, but switched to road cycling after signing with the Under-23 team U.S. Fausto Coppi Gazzera Videa, with whom he rode for three seasons. He went on to join CSF Group-Navigare as a neo-professional in 2009, for whom he made his Grand Tour debut in the 2010 Giro d'Italia. He joined Liquigas-Cannondale for the 2011 season, and rode for the team in two more Grand Tours – the 2011 Giro d'Italia and the 2011 Vuelta a España.
