While balancing work and education, Aleksandr Aristov started attending the Workers' Faculty of the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute in 1971. Throughout his studies, he took on part-time jobs and actively engaged in student construction brigades, contributing to various construction projects.

After his studies were completed, Aleksandr Aristov went on to be in construction for several years. He specialised in building agricultural facilities, such as grain silos and livestock buildings.

In 1988, Aleksandr Aristov and his business partner established the Energiya cooperative, which marked the early foundation of the Ariant enterprise. Initially, their focus was on producing consumer goods. However, later on, they shifted their focus to food production.

By 1995, they had started construction of the Food Industry Center - Ariant, and commenced the construction of a plant in Chelyabinsk, which became the foundation for producing mineral table water and sweet carbonated water under the brand Ariant. The meat, poultry, and meat by-products sectors were then separated into distinct divisions, which underwent rapid growth and development.

During the 2000s, Ariant expanded its presence in the food industry markets, extending operations well beyond the Chelyabinsk region and engaging in winemaking in the Krasnodar region. The company bought 7000 hectares of vineyards from the agrofirm Yuzhnaya and collaborated with international enology specialists.

From 2008 to 2015, Aleksandr Aristov served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for LLC Food Industry Center - Ariant. In 2020, he made the decision to divide the business with his industry partner based on sectoral principles, retaining ownership of the food industry enterprises. Following this transition, the businessman gradually stepped back from active management and entrusted the affairs to the younger generation.

Since 2020, Aleksandr Aristov has been serving as an expert consultant in the field of agribusiness. He emphasises that his family is his greatest source of strength at present. Happily married, Aleksandr Aristov has a daughter, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. His family, he says, is his greatest source of strength at present.
