Who is Alex McAulay?
Alex McAulay is an American novelist and musician. He is the author of Shelter Me, Oblivion Road, Lost Summer, and Bad Girls, all released by MTV and Pocket Books. Alex lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife Lisa and their daughter.
Under the name Charles Douglas, Alex has recorded five indie-rock albums, including The Lives of Charles Douglas which features Maureen Tucker from The Velvet Underground on drums, and Statecraft with Joey Santiago from The Pixies on guitars.
