Who was Alexander Nimmo?
Alexander Nimmo was a Scottish engineer and architect active in early nineteenth-century Ireland. His maritime engineering designs combined classical motifs with utilitarian functionality. Amongst other projects, he is credited with designing the village of Knightstown, County Kerry.
