Who was Art Renner?
Arthur W. Renner was an American football player. He played college football for the University of Michigan from 1942 to 1946. He played on four Michigan teams that were ranked in the top ten in the United States and was the captain of the 1946 Michigan Wolverines football team that was ranked #6 in the United States in the final AP Poll. His college football career was interrupted by service in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.
