Who is B. G. Hendrix?

B. G. Hendrix was an Arkansas state politician. He served for 34 years in the Arkansas House of Representatives for the Fort Smith district, along with Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1989 to 1991. During his time in the house, he was involved in acquiring the first computer for the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith in the late 1960s. He also served as the Arkansas Attorney General for a brief period of time before retiring from the house in the 1990s. He currently resides in Fort Smith.
