Who is Ben Posford?

Ben is recommended in the Legal 500 and listed as a ‘Leading Individual’ in Chambers Partners. He is responsible for managing a department of senior lawyers handling catastrophic and complex injury claims, to include spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, fatalities, amputations, construction site claims, industrial disease claims, medical negligence, product liability and group actions. He also retains a personal caseload of multi-million pound compensation claims, acting for Claimants with injuries of the utmost severity. He has a special interest in early rehabilitation issues for the seriously injured, and has particular specialities in brain and spinal cord injury claims. Ben regularly contributes to the national media on issues such as cycling safety measures and the government’s attempts to limit employers’ liability for injuries in the workplace. He has forthright views about the rights of people who are injured through no fault of their own, and lectures on issues involving compensation and civil procedure. He is an accredited senior litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), and Secretary of APIL’s national Damages Special Interest Group.
