Who is Bill Hobbs?
William "Bill" Barton Roger Hobbs is an American rower who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics and in the 1972 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and is the younger brother of Franklin Hobbs.
In 1968 he was a crew member of the American boat which finished fifth in the pair with coxswain event.
Four years later he won the silver medal with the American boat in the 1972 eights competition.
