Who is Bill Wilson?

As Executive Vice President of Programming, Bill Wilson is

responsible for creative program development and original production

for all AOL content including Women Lifestyle, News, Money

Finance, Music, Movies, TV, Celebrity, Games, Sports, AOL Latino, Black

Voices, Research Learn, KOL, and Red. He also manages AOL's

programming joint ventures including leading celebrity news site TMZ

with Telepictures, This Just In comedy site with HBO, and extreme

sports site Lat34 with Fusion.

Wilson joined AOL from BMG Entertainment where he served as Senior

Vice President for Worldwide Marketing and managed the marketing

campaigns for the world's biggest artists including Outkast, Christina

Aguilera, Dave Matthews Band, Santana, and Whitney Houston. He began

his career in entertainment at BMG's most successful record label

Arista Records under the leadership of the legendary Clive Davis and

was the principal product manager for a variety of artists including

Notorious BIG, Sarah McLachlan, Monica, Spiritualized, and Kenny G.

Wilson, who won an Emmy Award in 2006 for AOL's Live 8 program, was

named to Crain's New York Business "40 under Forty" in 2005,

Billboard's "Power Players" in Digital Entertainment in 2005, and

Hollywood Reporter's "Next Generation" in 2003.

He graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York

at Stony Brook with a BA in economics and a BS in business management

and earned an MBA with honors in finance and marketing from Rutgers

University's Graduate School of Management.
