Who is C. Silvera?
Pu C Silvera a Congress politician from Mizoram who was the longest serving Member of the Mizoram represengin Mizoram in the 9th Lok Sabha, 10th Lok Sabha and the 11th Lok Sabha.
He was member of Rajya Sabha for the term 1984-1990 from Mizoram.
Dr C Silvera was inducted as the first person from Mizoram to be in the Indian Union Council of Ministers as Minister of Health and Family Welfare on Feb 17, 1994.
