Who is Cameron Levins?

Cameron Levins is a Canadian long-distance runner from Campbell River, British Columbia. Levins surprised the nation after years of not being known as a runner by qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics in the 10,000 metres with an A standard and in the 5,000 metres event with an A standard and a first place finish at the 2012 Canadian Olympic Trials in track and field in Calgary, Alberta. At the 2012 Summer Olympics Levins finished 11th in the 10,000 meter run in a time of 27:40.68 and 14th in the 5,000 meter in a time of 13:51.87 despite catching the flu just before the finals. Levins finished 14th in the 10,000 meters at the 2013 World Athletics Championship in Moscow, Russia.
