Who is Carl Edwards?

Carl Michael Edwards II is a former NASCAR driver who last drove in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2016. He previously drove the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing, and won the 2007 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship (formerly Busch Series). Nearly winning the 2011 NASCAR Cup Series title (then known as the Sprint Cup), he lost by a tiebreaker to Tony Stewart. Edwards was known for stopping his car at the finish line and doing a back flip off of it after winning a race.
