Who is Cindy & Roy?
Cindy & Roy were a one-off disco/blue-eyed soul-flavored pop duo comprised by husband & wife Cindy & Roy Wallman. They scored 2 disco-flavored pop hits, "Can You Feel It" and a cover of The Parliaments' "I Wanna Testify", taken from their only one album, "Feel It", produced by the late Walter Kahn. They also provided the uncredited backing vocals on The Raes' 1979 album, "Dancing Up A Storm". In1980, they recorded demos for their second and last album, "Back To Nature", but it never had the chance to released. Before that, they formed a pop/soul quartet, called, The New Censation with Clay Hunt and Tony Hillman and scored their only one self-titled album from 1974/75 that includes "Come Down To Earth", "First Round Knockout" and "Let's Get Back Together", produced by the late Van McCoy.
