Cully Alton Cobb, Sr., was an agricultural pioneer, educator, printer, journalist, and philanthropist in the American South who with his second wife, Lois Dowdle Cobb, co-founded the Cobb Institute of Archaeology on the campus of Mississippi State University at Starkville, Mississippi.
