Who was Dale Coogan?

Dale Roger Coogan was a Major League Baseball first baseman who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1950. He subsequently played for the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League. Following his professional baseball career Dale Coogan became superintendent of the Fountain Valley School District in Orange County, Calif.
