Who was Dan Sullivan?

Daniel C. Sullivan, nicknamed "Link", was a professional baseball player who played catcher in the Major Leagues from 1882-1886. He would play for the St. Louis Browns, Pittsburg Alleghenys, and Louisville Eclipse.
