Daniel Teichroew was a distinguished University of Michigan Professor Emeritus. He is known for his insight in the discipline of software engineering. His research focused on experimental statistics and computer and software engineering. In 1991 he was awarded the Warnier Prize for Excellence in Information Systems. Considered the “father of CASE” (computed aided software engineering).
