Who is Diane Sawyer?

Diane Sawyer is the current co host of Good Morning America. She has been in front of the cameras since 1978 starting her TV journalist career with CBS Morning News. Since then she became a correspondent and co anchor of 60 minutes. She moved to ABC network to Co anchor Primetime live in 1989. She joined Good Morning America in 1999 to co host with Charles Gibson and ratings of the program improved ever since. Before becoming a TV personality, Diane worked in the Nixon administration then helped him write his memoirs after his impeachment. Diane was born in 1945 in Glasgow Kentucky. She received her degree in English from Wellesley College. She is married to director Mike Nichols. She has received numerous awards in her TV career including nine Enmmys, two Peabody Awards.
