Who is Dom Shipperley?

Dom Shipperley is a rugby union footballer who plays professionally for the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby. His regular playing position is wing. He made his debut during the 2011 Super Rugby season against the Hurricanes.

Shipperley was a member of the Australia under 20 team that competed in the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.

Dom Shipperley was also an OP1 recipient in 2008 at Nudgee College. An OP1 is the highest possible marks that can be achieved in the Queensland Certificate of Education. Shipperley spoke at his school saying, "Balance is that extra element that allows us to succeed when we might not have and to have fun and enjoy the journey that is school life," "I have found it is not the time you spend studying or doing homework but the quality of your effort and focus when you are sitting down. When you sit down to work make sure you are 100% focused on it. Avoid distractions and just do it."
