Ebenezer Cooke was a South Australian accountant, Member of Parliament and Commissioner of Audit.

He was born in London, England where his eldest brother, the Rev. John Cooke, was a noted Egyptologist and co-founder of The Freeman, a Baptist weekly newspaper.
