Who is Eric Robinson?
Eric Robinson was a British water polo player who is credited with a gold medal in the 1900 Summer Olympics. Robinson was a member of the Osborne Swimming Club of Manchester, which fielded the winning team. The International Olympic Committee lists Robinson as a gold medalist in the event. However, Olympic historians have questioned Robinson's participation, noting that he competed in Manchester two days after the Olympic final and that a contemporary roster does not list his name.
