Who is Fatima al-Sughra bint al-Husayn?
Fatima al-Sughra bint al-Husayn was the eight-year old daughter of the early Islamic leader Husayn ibn Ali. It is believed that this daughter was ill and left behind at Medina when he took part in the battle of Karbala.
There are two other daughters of Imam Husayn who were with him at Karbala: Sakinah and Rukayya.
